Overview
Nomed Zdrul Kez was founded durring the early 17th century in early winter of the year 1614, by Arcticetus Zulvarash. The establishment of Nomed Zdrul Kez suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.
Nomed Zdrul Kez was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the early 17th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Nomed Zdrul Kez is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Nomed Zdrul Kez is buildings are arranged arround a single premissive cobblestone mainstreet with many smaller streets branching off of it which gives the town a over all rectangular shape, albit one warped and twisted by the nature of the curves of the main road. The town posesses a fortified albit thin wall of querried stone. This wall posesses most of the features of a castle wall, though it is constructed from cheeper inferior stone. It would pose a minor chalange for an attacking army, though it's clear the wall's true purpose is to crush the hopes of bandits and marauders. The town's failry decent fortifications have recently undergone extensive repairs and renovations, such that the repairwork is imeadiently apparent and can be spotted due to the diffring ages of materials. One can't help but wonder what brought the need for those repairs to the town.
Nomed Zdrul Kez seems to be abandoned at first. There are people present, working their trades and going about their business like any community, it’s just they are absurdly quiet. Just as you start to think there might be trouble, you see most of them are reading. The entire town feels like a library, with those not reading remaining quite to not disturb those who have their nose in a book. The longer you remain in Nomed Zdrul Kez the more you start to wonder if you’ve entered some strange open-concept University rather than a town, but you can’t quite say such with certainty.

Points of Interest
Nomed Zdrul Kez is remarkably well-fortified for a site of its size and role. Tall, stout walls, strong points inside the community, concentric defenses, a strategic terrain location, or a large body of standing troops might be present. Some threat is thought to exist that makes maintaining this fortification worthwhile, though it may come at a dear cost to the locals. The community’s suzerain may be uncomfortable with these defenses, as they could just as easily be used to defy the ruler.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Nomed Zdrul Kez was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Nomed Zdrul Kez lost 182 people, 268 livestock, and 81 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 190, when members of Nomed Zdrul Kez's militia enacted an operation to destroy or capture a specific enemy religious figure. The operation was complicated by major logistical problems. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in a crushing defeat for Nomed Zdrul Kez's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Nomed Zdrul Kez's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
